Put the most natural pictures on your portfolio, chose them very carefully; when taking pictures ask the client to stand next to a clear and plain background, The picture should include only the face and and a small area of the shoulders. A camera with a zoom lenses is essential as because on a regular camera if you stand too close the flash will be too bright and won't come out properly. These days a camera with quality lenses and pixels is not expensive, always include a variety of of shades and shapes of makeup's on clients from different ages.
